Here, stand with me upon the shore of Lake Cresangelo, the inner sea, stretching endlessly East. Pirates abound and there contend with beasts from the deep, with twisted magics dark and burning, burbling forth with the fog to froth and unfurl over the bay.

Long have I wandered the forest labyrinths and onto the road singing for bread, for Lord and Lady, ever bless, and though I’ve been far to the north where the Ice holds the dead, I find myself ever turning south to Briar Bay. Through trees and over stone, I have seen such horrors and buried such friends, but here I yet stand at Cresangelo’s shore to greet those lost upon the road.

Welcome, friend, to Briar Bay.

Briar Bay is a fantasy setting designed for Mork Borg and other OSR TTRPGs inspired by fairy tales, folklore, Le Mort d'Arthur, and surreal swords & sorcery. Expect the bizarre and the black, the whimsical and the wyrd.
