Gnomes!

Gnome Quest is a family friendly TTRPG about exploring the mountains where the gnomes have made their home. You'll traverse tunnels, fight monsters, and discover new peoples and lands within the mountains!

Using a simple 2d6 system and played either solo or in a group, you'll create a character, generate maps for the mountains, and explore. 

After designing Mech Hammer, I really liked the mini-zine format and thought it would be the perfect little package for making a game for my seven year old while he's home this summer.

This is a work in progress but the foundation of the game is the 2d6 and generative exploration/dungeon crawling. My goal is to have three mini-zines: Player's Handbook, GM Guide, and Atlas. From there, I may continue to expand the game, depending on how my son likes it.

Inspired/influenced by Mausritter, Brighthammer, Tunnel Goons, and Kal Arath, among other games. The biggest influence, however, are the stories I told my son when he was between the ages of 2 and 4 about a gnome and his dwarf friend exploring their mountain, fighting goblins, and protecting their friends.
